The Taste of the Mountain Wine Seminars and Grand Tasting will take place on Saturday in the Village plaza area. A White Wine Seminar will take place first where you can enjoy tastings of wines from different areas and styles. Next is the Red Wine Seminar, where distinct flavors from around the world will be highlighted.

Jazz tunes by the Bob Thompson Band, a Charleston local group, will play some funky, swinging music that will have those who love jazz, loving their sound.

The pricing for the Taste of the Mountain event varies. They have a grand package for one price that includes the Friday night reception, but the red and white wine seminars will be priced separately. This is probably the best way to go if you plan to stay for the weekend. Or, there’s the Al A Carte pricing which is a great idea if you only plan to hit one of the seminars. You can purchase a ticket for just the Champagne and Dessert reception on Friday or the Grand Tasting on Saturday.

Whatever you choose, do not leave the fun and festivities until you watch the sky light up in the evening with a fireworks finale.
