The Snowshoe Gravity Series 1&2 is one of the premiere mountain bike races in the Mid-Atlantic, and is open to bikers of all skill levels. The series of races which will be hosted inĀ Snowshoe WV will allow mountain bikers to test there skills against a course designed with several technical components and severe degrees of slope. Many of the step downs have bail out or alternative routes for bikers who are not yet comfortable with controlling their bikes during leaps and jumps. Many will find that the mountain side courses are very suited for even the most experienced mountain biker.
Beginners will also be able to enjoy the course as sections are designed for their skill levels while not diminishing the experience for the more skilled riders. Sections of the course branch off to less severe sloped areas and the trails for all of the riders are clearly marked and include a variety of elements which make the ride challenging. Riders will descend approximately 1500 feet of a severe vertical grade on a course cut along the Western Territory over two separate courses.
