Come out of winter hibernation and enjoy a fun-filled day at Snowshoe WV Winterfest. Taking place on December 12 and 13, 2014, it is a day of fun and games for the whole family. All this and a beer brewing lesson too!
From noon to 4 p.m. there will be a disc jockey and games to play. For those who are 21 years of age and older there is an art of brewing seminar at 2 p.m. featuring the fabulous brew master Matt Kwasniewski from Big Timber Brewing Company. At this seminar you will learn how that delicious beer you enjoy is actually brewed, which will give you a new appreciation of this thirst quenching beverage that has been enjoyed for centuries.
If beer is not your thing or you are under the age of 21 there are still fun things for you to enjoy. At 3 p.m. there is a Then and Now Fashion Show to be enjoyed by all. Go down memory lane as you enjoy fashions from years ago to todays current trends. A perfect fit for a Fashionista.
From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. there will be a Brewfest sampling at the Connection Nightclub where you can mingle and meet others while enjoying freshly brewed beer with the increase knowledge of brewing that you learned earlier in the day. Bottoms up!
At 4:30 p.m. compete in the Snowfest Hare Contest. If you are the lucky winner you will receive a season pass for the 2015 – 2016 ski season. So, use your imagination and, get your creative juices flowing. All your fun may pay off in a big way.
There will be continuous musical entertainment from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Connection Nightclub where you can enjoy the live music, friends and amazing beer. Maybe you will be lucky enough to meet new friends or maybe even make a connection at the Connection Nightclub.
