Burton Snowboard Camp
Women’s Snowboard Camp – Jan. 6-7, 2017

It doesn’t take much for things to get exciting when avid snowboard instructors get together. It started 10 years ago, with the Snowshoe Burton Snowboard Camp for women. There was no plan. Let’s just hit the snow. Now, 10 years later, we’ve got one of the largest snowboard camps in the U.S. and one of the best events schedules of the season!

Snowshoe Mountain has invited us back and that means all of us. Not just previous campers but even ladies who have not had the chance to experience our camp. The 2-day event will be taking place on January 6-7, 2017. Our first Burton Pro, Gabi Viteri, is back as part of a full line of great coaches for this year’s Burton Snowboard Camp.

It doesn’t make any difference what your snowboarding level is. We’ve got everyone from Burton coaches to Snowshoe coaches to take you through the moves. Improve your style and maybe even move up to the skill next level. And check out all the ladies’ perks at the camp such as massages, live music, yoga and much more.

Here’s your chance to have two wonderful days of coaching at the Burton Snowboard Camp. Included in the schedule are:

  • Cocktail meet and greet with hors d’oeuvresBurton Snowboard Camp
  • Admission to live Beats in the Basin music on Friday night.
  • Saturday and Sunday mornings there is a bagel breakfast followed by yoga!
  • Enjoy lunch on both Saturday and Sunday and a private social evening Saturday night!

At scheduled times you can have a chair massage, receive a bag of goodies from Burton, a special edition tee-shirt, and a chance to win a Burton board!

Here’s some more important stuff to know. Please bring your own gear or make arrangements to rent it. Be sure to bring waterproof or water-resistant mittens or gloves, goggles, a neck up and hat. If you plan on using Burton Snowboard Campthe terrain park, you’ll need a helmet. And while a lot of beginners think that they can’t manage terrain park, campers often get a big surprise when they see how much they progress at the camp. Next thing they want to head to the park but don’t have a helmet. So we suggest you bring one no matter what your skill level.

Prepare for any and all weather as we are out in it no matter what the conditions. The camp goes on unless weather closes the mountain to all guests. For lodging deals, be sure to visit Mountaintop Condos which features 1, 2, and 3-bedroom condos in Mountain Lodge (slope-side).
