Getting here was a little challenging based on info provided in AirBnb. Highly recommend reading any extra messages you get or try routing to the "Snowshoe Mountain Lodge" for more specific directions. Service goes away as you get closer to the mountain so definitely pull up directions ahead of time. Kitchen was full of pots and pans, but not many seasonings. Bring your own olive oil and butter if you plan to cook!
Very updated. Great kitchen supplies. perfect location
It's not clear if the condo had been cleaned prior to our arrival. Food was on the carpet and the toilet was not cleaned. There were limited dishes in the cupboard which meant we had to washes dishes after each meal. For a positive, the location was great and the view of the Ballhooter lift was nice.
We stayed here to ski and it's a very nice, clean condo and couldn't be more convenient for access to the slopes. Easy parking situation, too.
Great location to the slopes! Mountain Lodge in my opinion has the best ski-in/ski-out due to the lockers and being right next to ballhooter
Excellent
good location right in the village. clean and comfy condo. would recommend to anyone looking for a winter getaway.
Nice view and right front of lift. You will love it as is. You won't regret
Its a great location for a great price! Has everything you would need to cook + plenty of food in walking distance. Super cozy, would stay again.
Ski-in ski-out at the top of Ballhooter lift. Unit is comfortable and kitchen well stocked. Perfect for a couple, though I would not advise additional guests as the pull-out sofa isn’t in great shape. Would stay again!
Clean and organized! Great view! Close to ski area and bike trails.
Fantastic place, spotless. Had coffee filters and paper towel even though message with instructions said it wouldn’t. It was very hot inside because it was hard to get airflow since the sliding glass door would not open due to ongoing construction. Still 10/10 and additional fan could easily solve this.
Very clean and close to the ski lifts!
Great Value but dated.
We had a great stay at this unit. For it being the end of the season it was very peaceful and quiet. The unit was stcoked with everything we needed and it felt like home.
Loved the location. Easy access to the slopes. Right across fron the pool/spa area (nice if you get banged up). And cheaper than going through snowshoe, gotta love it.
This Condo was perfect. Very convenient and accommodating. Would stay here again.
Great location, good tv, kitchen supplies and internet. Very clean and bed comfortable.
A close and convenient place to stay. Check-in process was super simple and the directions of how to get to the place were clear and easily understood. Would love to stay here again.
This hotel was so convenient for skiing! I wish I would have stayed longer because it was so beautiful. The view from my window was the ski lift and it doesn't get better than that!
Great as usual! Will be back!
Nice and clean condo overlooking the slope at the Ballhooter Lift. Convenient to skiing and the Village.
Good location and clean.
Couldn’t ask for a better location slope side for our long weekend. Perfect for our family of 4!
Perfect condo! No complaints. Recommend moving the wifi modem to the living room area. In the evenings, we couldn't all use it, due to distance (possibly). I highly recommend this condo, we would stay here again.
Accurate listing —This is a very simple, no-frills type of a place. Perfect for a casual getaway with all the basics. The Mountain Lodge itself (where this unit is located) is nothing to write home about — think Embassy Suites with the charm of Motel 6 — but this unit is kept very clean and tidy, which we appreciated. The view out the porch door to the Ballhooter lift is lovely with great sunrise views. The living room TV is larger than it appears in the photos, which was a pleasant surprise for Super Bowl weekend! Chris runs a few of these units for "Mountaintop Condos" so even though you get all the info from him, when you're onsite all issues or needs are communicated directly to the Lodge staff. We didn't have any issues, but don't expect the personal touch or typical Airbnb host communication: this is his business. The location is good, right on the slopes, but the biggest issue for us was that you can only park your car in the Mountain Lodge lot between your check-in and check-out. If you arrive before 5pm (check in) and want to ski, you have to park in a general lot down the road and walk up stairs to access the slopes. Same thing if you want to ski the same day you leave: Check-out is at 11am and you have to move your car out of the lot by then. Chris is very clear that there are no early check-ins or late check-outs allowed, so there are some extra logistics you have to consider. We would stay here again, since we wanted a cheap(ish) weekend getaway, and the cleaning and service fees weren't astronomical.
The room was great, clean and great view of the mountain. Only disadvantage is being on 2nd floor so had to walk to the stairs, it wasn’t a bad thing cus it wasn’t that far but I prefer to walk out the door onto the slopes. Slightly long walk to the shuttle as well but overall the room was great, the front counter personnel was great, and overall it is one of the best places to be on the mountain
Thank you! We liked it! Highly recommend
Bring a crockpot! You wont need much else though.
Great place!
The unit at the Mountain Lodge was great. It was super clean and updated to be very comfortable. There are lots of hooks for your ski stuff and even hooks to hold snowboards (although kid snowboards are too small). This unit faces the slopes, so just a warning if anyone is sleeping on the pull-out sofa and the snowmakers are going, it is loud. Bring earplugs! Easy, easy access to the slopes and an overall great place to stay.
This is a very clean one bedroom condo that is great for a family of four. We have been to Snowshoe many times and this is just about the best, most convenient location you could stay. Right in the heart of all the action with a great view of all the action and mountain. Quick, easy access to the slopes for skiing and boarding, and a short walk to the Village for dinning, shopping and night life. We highly recommend!

You can't beat this location! Right off the Ballhooter lift and a great view of the lift and slope! You should bring bowls if you're planning on having cereal or chili or such as they don't really have those and the kitchen items are lacking, but of course, you're probably there to ski so it might not matter, but a heads up. Sofa bed is surprisingly comfortable and it's a nice place. Chris does make it clear to not contact him if there are any issues so just be aware you won't have that communication with the host that you might be used to with Airbnb. He tells you to just contact the front desk which I'm sure would work, but I've liked the more personal interactions I've had with hosts. Overall, I'd recommend!
This is a great place to stay. The apartment is really nice and the convenience to the ski slopes and village is great.
Had a great time , would stay here again .
I have stayed at Mountain Lodge before and I will definitely stay there again. My wife and I usually buy Snowshoe season passes, so we visit several times per year, and Mountain Lodge is definitely a great location. You walk right outside to our favorite blue runs and Ballhooter lift. It's extremely convenient. There is even one of those waffle spots right there (yum!). It was easy to book and easy to check in. No, it's not super modern fancy accommodations, but it's on par with the other places we've stayed on the mountain. I would say my only complaint with Mountain Lodge is temperature regulation. Sometimes it's so hot you're boiling (even with the thermostat set low). And, other times, the windows can't keep the cold out and you're chilled. But, otherwise, it's great.

I would give this 5 stars but the temperature in the living room got down to below 50 degrees sunday night. I was in the bedroom and had no issues but I'm guessing the cold temps outside kept the heat from working properly? My brother was sleeping close to the glass door and was wrapped up in a cocoon with his hoodie on. I've never seen a condo get so cold. I realize the room would be colder from subzero outside temps but 50 degrees is ridiculous. Otherwise, the place is perfect. Please check the heating elements in the living room. MLK weekend was not ideal for skiing unfortunately. Whole mountain lost power on Sat about 1pm and had to ride the bus back from Top of World. Winds so high Sunday, they closed Ballhooter lift and Cupp...lines at the bottom were the longest I've ever seen. But, I love Snowshoe. Best skiing in the mid-Atlantic by far.
ML226 was much cleaner than I expected having seen reviews calling the building old. It may be older, but the room is certainly well-kept. Chris provided ample clear communication ahead of our trip allowing my family to know exactly what to bring and what to leave behind. The location of this unit is prime for those at all ski levels; Snowshoe Basin and the Ballhooter lift lie right outside your door. This room in particular had fantastic amenities, including cookware, dining ware, some games in the cupboard, and a 500-piece Snowshoe puzzle we completed over dinner! Bringing groceries from home was the move since we didn't go to many restaurants in the Village, but it's so close that not even little kiddos would complain. Overall a stellar location, super clean space, and well-organized communication by Chris. Would highly recommend.
Property was cleaner than expected upon arrival—hotel quality if not better. Condo was stocked with all the kitchen supplies, eating utensils, and linens we could've needed. Proximity to the Snowshoe Basin portion of the mountain was wonderful; step out and you're there. Loved that there was a place to hang four sets of skis/poles and two snowboards inside the condo so we didn't have to rent a gear locker. Overall, exceptional.
I stayed here with my sister and a friend. It was perfect for our 3 night stay. 2 people shared the bedroom and I stayed out on the pull out couch. It was plenty of room for us- we just needed a place to crash after all day out on the slopes. Located right outside ballhooter lift and right next to the village. Also everything was very clean which was a relief. Would DEFINITELY stay here again!!!
Perfect location with all the amenities. Clean and cozy.
