This is an obvious one. Snowshoe Ski Resort averages more than 180 inches of snowfall each year, plus they add their own. There will always be plenty of snow to enjoy during ski season. They even offer a Snow Guarantee, promising there is more skiable terrain than nearby resorts. The Basin Area has room for everyone, whether for an expert skier trying out Widowmaker, Choker, or Knot Bumper, or someone just beginning on Flume Trail. It includes an 800-foot vertical drop and seven lifts. Plus, there are 38 trails. There is also a terrain park system with small to medium features. Feeling brave? Head over to the Western Territory for expert skiing on Snowshoe’s infamous Cupp Run! Or, take a shuttle down to the Silver Creek area for night skiing!

Head Over To The Coca-Cola Tubing Park

Enjoy the rush of downhill tubing over six snowy stories. The tube park has eight lanes to accommodate its many visitors. The best part? A cable pulls the tube back up the hill to avoid a day of hiking uphill. Be sure to secure tickets for your day of fun. Tickets are good for unlimited rides for two hours, during the park hours. The park is open 1-7 pm Sunday-Thursday and opens until 9 pm on Friday. It is open 11 am-9 pm on Saturday.

Get A Different View of Snowshoe Ski Resort

Check out the mountain from a different view during an Off-Road Adventure Tour. A heated Polaris RZR takes four people through the backcountry of Snowshoe Ski Resort. Thrill-seekers can choose to drive if they dare. The guided tour spans over 11,000 acres of the resort property and lasts an hour and a half. Everyone must be at least 12 years old to ride and at least 18 to drive. Be sure to book your tour in advance and arrive ten minutes before ticket time.

Snowshoe is host to restaurants to suit any preference, ranging from sports bars to pizzas and pasta. Old Spruce Cafe and Tavern, located in the Village, typically tops the lists of places to try. The menu includes sandwiches and wraps, as well as Jamaican jerk chicken, their specialty. Every Thursday is sushi night during ski season.
